Suzlon wins 54 turbine order from Australia's AGL

Indian wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon has won an agreement to supply 54 turbines each with a caspacity of 2.1 megawatts (MW) to Australian power company AGL.

This is the third purchase that AGL, Australia’s largest energy provider, has made from Suzlon, adding up to a total of 133 S88 2.1 MW turbines. Previous contracts were for the 94.5 MW Hallett Stage 1 wind farm, and the 71.4 MW Hallett Stage 2 wind farm, which is currently under construction.

AGL is currently awaiting approval for the Hallett 3, Hallett 4 and Oaklands Hill wind farm projects.
