The renewables unit of German trading company BayWa says it is in the process of erecting a 45.4MWp PV plant in France.

The solar plant extends to an area of 115 hectares, distributed over five sites in the Aquitaine region near Bordeaux.

BayWa is the main contractor for the project and will build the individual plants in cooperation with a regional project developer.
