SunPower Q4 loss widens to $144.8m

SunPower reported a wider fourth quarter net loss to $144.8m, or $1.22 pershare, on restructuring charges, higher operating expenses and lower photovoltaic panel prices, as revenue rose from a year earlier.

Net loss in fourth quarter 2011 was $93m, or $0.94 per share. Fourth quarter revenue was $678.5m versus $625.3m a year earlier.
