The
company
has
signed
a
deal
to
provide
78MW
of
turbines
to
Brazilian
renewables
generation
company
Ersa,
and
is
negotiating
for
two
other
wind
projects
that
were
allocated
deals
in
the
2010
renewables
tender.
Siemens
is
also
talking
to
developers
about
selling
wind-energy
supply
contracts
into
the
unregulated
market,
the
next
frontier
for
Brazilian
wind
power-purchase
agreements.
Although
the
Brazilian
market
is
booming,
and
a
turbine
factory
remains
in
its
plans,
Siemens
has
chosen
to
focus
on
building
a
supply
chain
that
outsources
its
technology
to
local
manufacturers,…
