Acciona Windpower will deliver 31 ofits 3MW machines to wind farms jointly owned by Voltalia, Chesf and Encalso.
The deal includes a 15-year operationand maintenance agreement.
Acciona will mount the turbines –a mixture of its AW116/3000 and AW125/3000 models – on 120-metre concretetowers.
Acciona Windpower has now eithersupplied or booked orders for 423MW of its 3MW turbines in Brazil, said theSpanish group.
The company is due to open anacelle plant in Brazil by the end of this year and already has a hub productionfacility up and running there.
