Sarco is slated to use 94 2.5MW turbines atits site in the Atacama region, said a statement on the Chilean government’swebsite.
It will connect to the grid via a 56km exportcable.
Commissioning of the wind farm is due in2016.
Chile is a major target market for MRP, whichcites a 2.7GW pipeline in the country spanning wind and solar projects.
