Vestas will deliver seven of its V90-3.0 MW machines to the Tilawindproject in the country’s Guanacaste province.

The order was placed by project company Tilawind Corporation, which is co-ownedby local groups New Tessela and Gruman Resources.

Delivery will begin in the thirdquarter of this year, with commissioning by the end of 2014.

The contract includes a 10-year serviceagreement.

Vestas said it had installed more than 500MW in Mexico, the Caribbeanand Central America by the end of last year.
