The contract was awarded by Fisterra Energy, which is majority owned by funds managed by Blackstone, the US private equity group, and Cemex, the Mexico-based global cement giant.
Acciona will start EPC work at the Ventika 1 and 2 plants later this year in the municipality of General Bravo, Nuevo Leon state.
The wind farms will need a total investment of $650m,Acciona said.
