Fluor was awarded a lump-sum engineering, procurement andconstruction (EPC) contract for the AVSE2 project in late 2011, and is on trackto finish the project – among the world’s largest PV arrays – this year.
The deal would appear to mark Fluor’s first foray intolong-term O&M work in the PV industry, with MattMcSorley, senior vice president of the company’s power business, saying: “Weare pleased to expand our work in the renewable-energy market.”
