The movewill see SolarWorld Americas, the commercial unit based in Camarillo,California, and SolarWorld Industries America, the production company based inHillsboro, combined into the Oregon hub, where some 600 people are currentlyemployed.
Asignificant number of workers in Camarillo, a site owned from Shell Solar in2006, will be offered a transfer to Oregon, according to press reports.SolarWorld stopped producing modules in Camarillo in 2011.
