New York-listed ReneSola will supply roughly 178,000 modules for the 53.5MW Alamo II project in San Antonio, as well as another planned project two hours west of the city, it said in a statement.
ReneSola, based in China’s Zhejiang province, will provide its 300W polycrystalline modules for a portion of the order.
OCI Solar Power, a unit of South Korea’s OCI, started construction on the first 41MW phase of the Alamo project last February.
