Rio Energy will acquire 30 Acciona turbines of 3MW each for its Itarema wind complex, which was awarded a contract during the government’s A-3 auction that took place yesterday.
With this new sale, Acciona has reached a total of 420MW in contracts in Brazil.
Currently, Acciona is working to finish off the 120MW Atlântica complex, owned by CPFL Renováveis, that is being built in Rio Grande do Sul.
