The €300m ($350m) Cibuk 1 wind project in Serbia has reached a financial close, said Mott MacDonald, a technical advisor to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

With a capacity of 158MW, Cibuk 1 is the largest wind project to date in Serbia. The project about 50km northeast of Belgrade is slated to be commissioned by 2020.
