the
government
announced
it
would
levy
an
extraordinary
tax
on
the
power-generation
sector,
which
the
chief

tariffs,
and
this
investment
has
never

remunerated
properly,”
he
says,
adding
that
the
tax
will
cost
Acciona
around
€1bn
($1.33bn)
in
net
value.

1
February,
Madrid
introduced
a
new
decree
law,
which
eliminates
the
option
for
renewables
producers
of
selling
energy
at
the
market
price
plus
a
premium,
and
obliges
them
to
choose
between
a
fixed
tariff
or
the
market
price.
