PAULO:
The
strategy
appears
to
be,
in
part,
a
response
to
the
rapid
dip
in
Mexico's
oil
production.
The
plan
aims
to
reverse
the
decline
and
boost
oil
production
to
3.3
million
barrels
a
day
by
2024.
Currently,
it
produces
less
than
three
million
barrels
a
day.
Energy
security,
efficiency
and
sustainability
are
the
focuses
of
the
strategy,
including
increasing
the
use
of
renewables
and
reducing
greenhouse
gas
emissions.
The
"visionary
document"
will
allow
Congress
to
establish
planning
for
the
industry
over
the
next
