DSME
will
contribute
C$20.4m
($19.8m)
to
the
joint
venture
and
will
hold
51%
of
its
shares,
while
Nova
Scotia
will
invest
C$19.6m
and
hold
49%.
The
province
is
also
providing
start-up
financing
for
the
new
venture,
including
loans
of
C$30m
for
new
equipment,
up
to
C$6m
for
working
capital,
and
C$4m
to
acquire
land
and
buildings.
The
Canadian
government
will
also
invest
C$10m
through
the
Atlantic
Canada
Opportunities
Agency,
via
a
C$5m
repayable
loan
and
a
C$5m
contribution
for
adjacent
land
