The company has signed major global deals with Siemens and Vestas, but it has also worked closely with GE in the US and recently signed a deal to use the latter’s turbines in Brazil.
EGP says its global purchasing reach and access to its own funding give it considerable advantages. “You need to have volumes to extract value from suppliers and we have that,” says boss Francesco Starace.
