WinWind says Indian venture is no-lose situation
Finland's WinWind is expanding production capacity in its native country and in India, the home of its majority owner, Siva Group. The Helsinki-based turbine manufacturer is developing a 3MW machine with a rotor diameter of 109 metres at its new factory in Hamina, Finland.. Commercial production will start in 2012, with a test machine being erected next spring in the harbour of Raahe in the Gulf of Bothnia.
