Rio de Janeiro: Two concentrating solar power projects have registered to compete in this year's Brazilian energy tender, in the sector's first attempt at breaking into the local market.
Recharge has learned that the projects are registered to participate in the A-3 tender, the terms of which demand that plants come on line within three years. The tender is expected to be held in late July.
