German wind developer WKN has sold the 8.2MW Ebersgrün wind farm to KGAL, a large Munich-based investment group owned by several German banks.

The wind farm in the Vogtland district in Saxony consists of four Senvion MM92 machines that each have a capacity to generate 2.05MW in electricity.

The wind park has already been commissioned.

WKN is a unit of fellow German developer PNE Wind.

In 2013, KGAL had already acquired the German wind parks Hollige, Kastorf and Kropp from WKN, as well as the French project Dargies.

KGAL at the end of 2012 had a massive portfolio of €25.1bn ($34.1bn).
