Nordex wins 63MW Dutch order

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has won a 62.7MW order to supply 19 of its N100/3300 turbines for the Delfzijl wind park in the North-East of the Netherlands to Dutch power provider Eneco Wind.

The turbines are slated to be grid connected by March 2015. The 3.3MW machines from Nordex's Generation Delta are equipped with a 100 metres rotor that fits the challenging conditions at the side where winds are rough, Nordex says.

The order includes a 15-year premium service contract.

Nordex recently had already signed a deal to supply 20 turbines of the same model to Eneco for the Moy project in Scotland.
