REpower
UK,
which
is
based
in
Edinburgh,
will
supply
four
MM82
turbines
to
the
Wear
Point
project
developed
by
Infinergy
in
South
Wales,
and
four
MM82
machines
to
the
Avonmouth
project
sited
at
Bristol’s
sewage
treatment
works,
in
southwest
England.
Both
projects
weigh
in
at
8.2MW
and
are
due
for
completion
by
the
end
of
2013.
The
Avonmouth
order
builds
on
Suzlon-owned
REpower’s
existing
relationship
with
Netherlands-based
ethical
bank
Triodos,
whose
renewables
subsidiary
is
developing
the
project
for
GENeco,
Wessex
Water’s
waste-to-energy
company.
