10MW
facility
to
owner
Minera
El
Tesoro,
which
will
use
it
to
help
supply
process
heat
to
operations
at
a
copper
mine.
The
solar-thermal
plant
will
replace
about
55%
of
the
diesel
currently
used
in
the
copper
electro-extraction
process,
says
Abengoa.
The
Spanish
group
installed
almost
1,300
solar-thermal
collector
modules
over
a
six
hectare
site.
