will
remain
on
board
as
engineering,
procurement
and
construction
contractor
for
the
two
arrays,
which,
taken
together,
represent
the
world’s
largest
PV
project.
Construction
will
commence
in
early
2013
and
finish
in
2015
–
sooner
than
prior
estimates
suggested.
The
companies
did
not
disclose
the
purchase
price.
MidAmerican
Renewables
is
among
the
largest
investors
in
US
wind,
with
nearly
4GW
of
capacity
on
its
books.
In
recent
years
it
has
stepped
up
its
investments
into
utility-scale
PV,
including
the
550MW
Topaz
project
and
the
290MW
Agua
Caliente,
both
