Report urges New Jersey to reject pilot offshore wind project

A consultant hired by New Jersey is recommending that the state reject a proposal by Fishermen’s Energy to build a pilot wind farm in state waters, saying the project will not provide a net economic benefit to ratepayers and would utilize unproven Chinese-made turbines from vendor XEMC-Darwind.
