Vestas eyes Ontario plant as talks progress with Trillium
Canada’s Trillium Power Wind and Vestas are in “intensive” negotiations on a “very comprehensive” strategic framework agreement that will result in the Danish company landing a massive turnkey wind turbine supply contract, Trillium chief executive John Kourtoff tells Recharge. Separately, Vestas is in talks with Ontario province over a possible turbine manufacturing plant.
