Wyoming governor says wind industry needs production tax

Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal will refloat a proposal for a wind energy production tax when the state legislature reconvenes 8 February, a move aimed at “leveling the playing field” by placing renewable energy on an equal fiscal footing with fossil fuel operations, his spokesman tells Recharge.
