Thanks to BritNed, UK power lines will soon be flowing electricity generated at Dutch offshore wind farms -- and vice versa.
UK-Dutch power interconnector gets €300m loan from EIB
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has thrown a €300m ($443m) loan at the BritNed Interconnector, a subsea link being built to connect the British and Dutch power grids as a means of boosting the flow of green electricity to both countries.
