Maryland seeks to open waters to offshore wind
The US state of Maryland has asked developers for expressions of interest in exploring the potential for developing wind-energy resources off its 31-mile Atlantic coast. The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) has asked for proposals to build wind farms 12 miles out to sea.
