EIB uncorks €300m loan for Ireland-Wales interconnector
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has announced a €500m ($732m) loan package to spur the development of Ireland’s renewable-energy sector, including a €300m injection for a long-awaited interconnector linking Ireland to the larger UK electricity market.
