Suntech posts 2009 profit of $338.8m, expands margins

Leading crystalline solar photovoltaic module manufacturer Suntech Power achieved fourth-quarter sales and profits that exceeded analyst expectations and expanded its 2009 gross margin while many in the industry saw margins contract.
