Solar industry to record its first-ever decline in 2009 - report

After decades of unbridled growth the solar industry will get its first taste of cyclicality in 2009. The industry will mark its first-ever downtick this year, with end demand for solar cells set to shrink 14% compared to 2008, a new report finds.
