JA Solar's revenues slump
Chinese solar manufacturer JA Solar's first-quarter revenues fell 79.4% to $33.9m as the company made a gross loss of $20.9m, compared to a profit of $34.5m in the same period last year. Much of the loss was due to an inventory provision of $20.3m.
