Argentine biodiesel blend into effect better late than never
Argentina’s 5% biodiesel blend went into effect on Friday, a month behind schedule, and the government promises prices at the pump will not be affected.
The government says the blend could go up to 20% in the next four years.
About 740 million litres of biodiesel will be need per year, which was about the same amount of diesel that was imported in 2008.
