Xcel picks Burns & McDonnell for coal-to-biomass conversion
Xcel Energy has awarded a contract to Burns & McDonnell to perform engineering services and permitting, procurement and construction support services for design and installation of biomass gasification technology at the utility’s Bay Front Power plant in Ashland, northern Wisconsin.
