Northeast states plan regional clean fuel standard
Eleven states in the US Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region have agreed to develop a low-carbon fuel standard (LCFS) aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the entire lifecycle of transportation fuels, and modelled on a standard first enacted by California.
