With over 200 members active along the whole value chain representing more than 90% of the European PV Industry, EPIA is the world's largest PV industry association.

As a highly dynamic and multi-cultural organisation at the centre of EU affairs, EPIA has been recently launching a major strategic initiative fundamentally reshaping the positioning of the PV Industry and establishing PV as a mainstream energy source EU and world-wide.

In order to reinforce this strategic initiative, EPIA is looking to a full time Senior Editor. This challenging position is available immediately.

About the position:

SENIOR POLICY ADVISOR

EPIA, the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, with headquarters in Brussels, is recruiting a Senior Policy Advisor to work in its office in Brussels.

In order to reinforce this strategic initiative, EPIA is looking to a full time Senior Policy Advisor. This challenging position is available immediately.

Reporting to the Policy Director, his/her responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis of legislative texts and their impact on the photovoltaic market
  • Drafting of policy positions papers, presentations and publications
  • Advocating at EU and national level
  • Building photovoltaic industry reputation
  • Enlarging EPIA network
  • Supporting the policy department with analysis of European legislation
  • Presenting and/or participating in national or international conferences or seminars
  • Contributing to elaboration of strategies
  • Coordinating EU Projects

His/her background and qualifications should include:

  • Master in Political; law, economics or business sciences. Additional qualifications are an asset.
  • Experience from European Parliament and/or European Commission are an asset
  • Sound knowledge of the European decision making process
  • A passion for renewable energies
  • Experience in the energy sector will be highly appreciated
  • Fluency in English; additional knowledge of German, Spanish or French are assets
  • High work flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Outstanding oral and written presentation skills
  • A minimum 4 years of relevant experience
