With over 200 members active along the whole value chain representing more than 90% of the European PV Industry, EPIA is the world's largest PV industry association.

As a highly dynamic and multi-cultural organisation at the centre of EU affairs, EPIA has been recently launching a major strategic initiative fundamentally reshaping the positioning of the PV Industry and establishing PV as a mainstream energy source EU and world-wide.

In order to reinforce this strategic initiative, EPIA is looking to a full time Senior Editor. This challenging position is available immediately.

SENIOR EDITOR

EPIA, the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, with headquarters in Brussels, is recruiting a Senior Editor to work in its office in Brussels.

In order to reinforce this strategic initiative, EPIA is looking to a full time Senior Editor. This challenging position is available immediately.

Reporting to the Marketing & Communication Director, his/her responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and promoting EPIA’s positions and key messages to its different target audiences
  • Writing press releases, editorials and articles (international/pan-EU and national press)
  • Contributing to the contents of EPIA newsletters, publications and websites
  • Generating EPIA’s presence in social media
  • Monitoring topics of interests for the association
  • Managing press inquiries
  • Acting as a spokesperson as appropriate

His/her background and qualifications should include:

  • Journalist background or equivalent
  • A minimum 5/7 years of relevant experience
  • A passion for renewable energies. Experience in the energy sector and a good understanding of renewable energies and PV in particular will be highly appreciated.
  • Native English speaker imperative - good knowledge of French, German and Spanish are assets
  • Able to identify opportunities and think “out of the box”
  • Enthusiastic personality and positive mindset
  • High work flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Autonomous and resilient to stress
  • Outstanding oral and written presentation skills
