About the position:

Main tasks are together with the Procurement manger in the region the procurement of wind turbines, establishment supply chain strategy and contracting approach and being involved from

turbine selection during development until contract signing and implementation and being the main interface to the selected supplier.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The primary accountability for this post is to establish, continue and pro-actively manage the successfully partnership with the key account manufacturer, to ensure the right information flow and to support the other departments in their requests.
  • The other primary accountability for this post is the successfully securing of the required wind turbines for the market in a timely fashion to permit construction schedules to be met, and at optimum cost and terms to permit economically optimum projects to be built at lowest reasonable risk.
  • Manage new supplier performance evaluation and develop relationship, ensuring that they are committed to assisting the company in the achievement of its goals and establish strategic relationships
  • Establish open communication between internal team and suppliers to ensure information is passed on to make the optimum choices for the wind farm
  • Maintain and establish procurement policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with National and EU legislation applicable to tendering and procurement.¿ Administration, co-ordination and management of tendering process and contract negotiations together with Management, Engineering, SHE and Operation and administration of the pre-qualification process of contractors and suppliers.
  • Coordination of inspections and audits of contractors/suppliers in collaboration with the HSEQ management and the applicable senior management
  • Investigate potential for local market content
  • Involvement in the offshore activities by supporting the offshore team when needed

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will preferably have:
  • Significant experience in procurement of technical complex projects
  • Experience with tendering and contract negotiation within the power industry thorough knowledge and familiarity with FIDIC, Inco terms etc.
  • Is Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Good organizational & planning skills
  • Team spirit
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • Experience of working in the wind industry would be beneficial.
