SSE wins big as UK awards 1.2GW of marine projects
The UK’s Crown Estate has named the successful bidders in the world’s first commercial wave- and tidal-energy leasing round, handing out ten sites off Scotland that will have a total potential to generate 1.2 gigawattts (GW) on to the national grid by the end of the decade.
