Carbon capture shut out of CDM for at least another year

Carbon capture and storage (CCS) will not be made eligible for the UN’s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) thanks to a decision made in Copenhagen, despite months of intense lobbying by countries as disparate as the UK and Saudi Arabia.
