Siemens launches new 3.6 MW offshore turbine

German engineering and renewable energy company Siemens has launched a new 3.6 MW wind turbine with a 120 metre rotor diameter. The SWT-3.6-120 turbine is based on the SWT-3.6-107, which Siemens says is the world’s most popular offshore turbine.
