Gamesa sells 26 2MW turbines for EUFER wind farms
Spanish turbine manufacturer Gamesa has signed contracts to supply 26 G87-2.0 MW turbines to EUFER for two wind farms in northern Spain.
The turbines are for the Valdemaría wind farm in Zamora province and the La Espina wind farm in León province. The agreements include installation, operation and maintenance services.
EUFER (Enel Unión Fenosa Renovables) is a joint venture between Italy’s Enel and Spain’s Unión Fenosa. Gamesa is the world’s third largest wind turbine manufacturer with around 14% of the market and plants in Europe, China and the US.
