The projects, a total investment of about $273m, won contracts via the government’s first renewable energy tender. Montealto is building them together with Energía Eólica SA, the company that originally won the tender.
The projects, the 30MW Central Eólica Talara and the 80MW Central Eólica Cupisnique, were supposed to have come on line in mid-2012, but are now expected to come on line in 2013.
